The Story

IMPORTED FROM ITALY

Grown on the fertile volcanic soils of a farm at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, these Pomodorini del Piennolo del Vesuvio PDO are harvested at peak ripeness in August and processed just a few meters away from the fields.

Freshly picked, each tomato is carefully hand-processed using traditional methods: the stem is removed, the tomatoes are washed to eliminate soil residues, and then they are sliced in half (“a pacchetelle”) and preserved in glass jars without any added liquids or preservatives.

This is a limited-production item due to its entirely artisanal processing. Every step, from cultivation to jar, follows the strict guidelines set by the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) production protocol for Pomodorino del Piennolo del Vesuvio.

The result is a naturally sweet, intensely flavorful tomato, perfect for elevating sauces, pizzas, or enjoying on its own with just a drizzle of olive oil.
