VENERE RICE is a whole-grain rice with an unmistakable natural black color that, while cooking, releases the characteristic scent of sandal wood and freshly baked bread. Originating from China, it is also currently cultivated in Italy, in the Po Valley.
It is known as the “Forbidden Rice of the Emperor“, as it is said to have been eaten only by him for its nutritional and aphrodisiac properties. The “Venere” rice has a high content of minerals, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Selenium, which are beneficial to our health.

100% Italian black venus rice , 1x 2.2lb bag
Cooking instructions
For each cup of rice combine 2 cups of water. Bring water to a boil and add salt. Add the rice and let the water come back to a gentle simmer . Then reduce the heat, cover the top and cook for up to 40 minutes.
How to store
keep in a dry and cool place, away from heat sources. Close the bag after using or move to a container in order to keep the unused goods cool and safe from air sources.For best before date see back label.
